Fiere is my first composition for organ, performed by Maestro Giovanna Riboli on the occasion of the concert " Quando a cantar con organi si stea", for the 700th anniversary of the death of Dante Alighieri, together with other compositions by Anthony Sidney, Philip Glass and Arvo Part.

For the theme of the composition I was inspired by the first Canto of Hell of the Divine Comedy by Dante Alighieri, more precisely from lines 31-60, where the three beasts appear: the loin, the lion and the she-wolf, which respectively represent the sins of lust, pride and greed.

I thank the basilica of San Miniato a Monte (Florence, Italy) and the abbot Father Bernardo Gianni for hosting the concert and the Suite Ohm Studio and Davide Martiello for helping us organize it.
